The Starfleet Internal Affairs Department (IA) is a department which has redefined its role within the fleet in recent times. The Starfleet Internal Affairs department has been around in some shape or form for quite some time, focusing and committing to the daily administration of the fleet so the running of fleet proposals, ensuring they keep on track and the moderating responsibilities on the fleet forums. The department has to ensure its fluid and have the ability to adapt to the needs of the fleet at the time, if we cannot do this, we're not doing our jobs as effectively as we could be.

We essentially take away that extra workload from Starfleet Command that would otherwise exist from dealing with certain issues and ensuring the fleet runs smoothly. One of our goals in particular is to provide resource and assistance to every division and department should they need it, if you're a CO or XO, usually by contacting us we should be able to help you get something done. Additionally, IA provides certain resources such as Fleet Meeting Transcripts and UFP Award Ceremony transcripts.
