Overview
The Future begins here...Starfleet Academy seeks to create the firmest of foundations for all members of the {UFP}.
Here in the Starfleet Academy, there is a level of excellence that we must not just work to meet, but work to exceed. To be here means that you want the Clan as a whole to be successful and you are willing to go above and beyond to ensure that it does.
The level of commitment we share within the Academy is also facilitated by healthy competition to be the best in your area of expertise, or what we call Away-team. The Away-Team Method was introduced in October to allocate all members of the SFA's responsibilities pertaining to Coursework creation. This is encouraged, because it creates an atmosphere of efficiency.
All graduates of the Academy will be confident in no matter what game that they play, they will feel prepared to work through any situation that they may find themselves in. We will accomplish this task by presenting the Member with the freedom to pursue Administrative Positions in the forums, or Online Gaming.
The ability to choose a Career Path is wonderfully stimulating to all that have wished to embrace the Star Trek experience. We are working so that this becomes a reality. Whether Tactical, Science, or Engineering we will make it possible to reach your goals. No matter what department a new member believes he can become a part of, we will make sure the tools and traits demonstrated early will be upon what he/she will be initially measured.
We are ready to meet all challenges, and we know that {UFP}'s success is measure by our own.
The Academy is currently undergoing a reconstruction period. New recruits are to be granted the rank of Crewman 3rd Class, and will undergo CORE training as soon as possible.
